The mission of the Biopolymer/Genomics Core Facility is to enable and foster institutional science by providing the expertise, state-of-the-art resources, and the training necessary to promote cutting edge genomic research.
The Facility and the personnel that staff it, are committed to maintaining technologically advanced instrumentation and providing an educational environment to instruct faculty, staff, fellows, and students on the latest technologies and how they can positively impact on their research.
Our staff is available to share their extensive knowledge and expertise in order to successfully support the research being conducted within the institution.
The Biopolymer/Genomics Core Facility maintains a number of instruments that are available for investigators to use once they have been properly trained. Investigators are responsible for any consumables necessary, and user fees charged are necessary to cover maintenance costs.
